Salaam Baalak Trust is working with Street and working children since 1988. SBT reaches annually more than 5000 children through its various programs viz. Shelter, Medical facilities, Education, Repatriation and Rehabilitation, etc. SBT runs two shelter homes and four children homes (two for Boys and two for Girls) and twelve daycare centers.

In 2003, SBT introduced a formal and full-fledged mental health program (MHP) under the guidance of psychiatrist Dr.Amit Sen. MHP team consists of qualified counselors who strive to build rapport with children and address their psychological needs.

The trust needs one counselor/therapist for the Mental Health Program.

1. Counseling psychologist.

Qualification required: M.A in psychology

Experience Needed: Two years of experience working with children
