Costing Manager (civil)

The Costing Manager position based in Mumbai requires an experienced individual with 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in cost management in the real estate or residential construction industry. As the Manager Costing, you will play a crucial role in overseeing cost management and estimation for residential real estate projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are completed within budget constraints while upholding high standards of quality and efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing cost control strategies to monitor and manage project costs effectively. This involves tracking project expenditures, identifying potential cost overruns, and taking corrective actions as necessary. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating and managing comprehensive budgets for various phases of construction projects, accommodating any changes that may arise during the project lifecycle. Furthermore, you will be responsible for conducting vendor and supplier cost analysis, negotiating competitive pricing, and ensuring the delivery of quality services. You will also be required to prepare detailed cost reports and present them to senior management, highlighting any variances and providing recommendations for cost optimization. Another critical aspect of your role will involve cost estimation for materials, labor, and equipment. Your expertise in calculating and analyzing cost estimates will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and competitiveness of project budgets. Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and MS-Office will be beneficial for effectively carrying out your responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this position will hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field such as B.Tech/B.E. Additionally, a Master's degree in Construction Management or a related field, along with certification in Cost Engineering, will be considered advantageous. This is a full-time position that requires working during the day shift at the designated work location in Mumbai.
