Costing Engineer,

Job Description:

• Developed and managed cost estimates for projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the project timeline.
• Conduct a comprehensive cost analysis for new and existing products, considering factors such as materials, labor, overhead, and other relevant expenses to inform strategic business decisions.
• Conducted detailed cost analysis to identify areas of cost optimization and implemented cost-saving initiatives.
• Worked closely with engineering, procurement and project management teams to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Developed and maintained cost models to support project feasibility studies.
• Perform a feasibility assessment to validate project viability, and subsequently freeze confirmed parameters to establish a stable foundation for further development.

Basic requirement

1. BE/B. Tech/Diploma Mechanical Engineering with related finance experience.
2. Minimum 3-8 years experience in automotive, earth-moving, railways/ Pressure vessel manufacturing industry.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Strong understanding of railways and maintenance standards.
5. Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
6. Knowledge of design drawings is a must.Position at Kurali/Mohali
