It is a very important and complex role since an organization can only survive if it actively investigates and safeguards its finances. A CFO must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader since all relative departments of the organization will be under their command. Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organizations operations. Supervise all finance personnel (controllers, treasurers etc.) Manage vendor relationships. Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports. Set up and oversee the companys finance IT system. Ensure compliance with the law and companys policies. Reviews planning process and suggests improvements to current methods. Identify opportunities for expansion into new product areas. Oversees investment of funds and works with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion. Manage team of finance controller ,accounting and financial analysts.
Job Responsibilities Should have dealt castings, forgings, machined and fabricated parts. Should have good working knowledge of manufacturing processes. Should be conversant with National and International standards. Should have excellent ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings. Should be capable of conducting Root Cause Analysis and resolve technical problems. Should be adept in dealing with vendors for development of parts within specific time frames. Responsibilities: Overall responsible for engineering activities across the Plant including managing NPD and Tool Room Create and implement best practice engineering vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve Plant performance Providing technical support to the business development. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of build design till handover Practice and inculcate in the team core engineering techniques, applications, methods, processes etc relating to structural designing, document preparations and other engineering activities Assisting projects with value engineering Develop planning and prioritise processes to ensure that multi-disciplinary resource is well aligned to maximise delivery of projects Ensure support to new product engineering activity with appropriate documentation and preservation of such documents. Work with Marketing department on product development, market opportunities and trends Support project management to cross functional activity required for project execution Report on Engineering activities on a regular basis to the Senior Management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators Responsible to ensure 5S at plant and workplace on daily basis Identifying the manpower requirements, skillsets and training needs of the function Mentor and develop direct reporters and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions Review the use of technological systems that support a more environmentally friendly approach Operate strictly within the budget allocated to the department and put in appropriate measures to reduce costs in different areas Submit inputs for annual budget on time in the formats and in the manner desiredo co-ordinate with accounts to confirm the insurance of the equipment is in force atall times.
