Cost Accounting Analyst III

As a finance professional at Kimberly-Clark, you will play a vital role in leading the calculation of standard costs across Latin America, supporting business decisions, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the standard cost update process for the next quarter, ensuring accurate calculations and documenting clear assumptions for cost components in Latin America. - Supporting standard cost calculations, release processes, and monthly close activities in compliance with financial controls and procedures. - Analyzing deviations in standard costs, identifying root causes, and implementing action plans to improve forecast accuracy for better business decisions. - Providing explanations of changes in standard costs and operating results to aid client understanding. - Collaborating closely with finance and supply chain teams to enhance forecasting processes. - Assisting in decision-making processes related to capital investments, new projects costing, data analysis, and ad hoc requests. - Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and resolution of discrepancies. - Meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements pertaining to LAO GBS Cost processes. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5-8 years of experience in finance, supply, operations, and cost accounting. - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Finance. - Strong critical thinking and technical skills. - High level of ownership, accountability, and stakeholder management. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP. - Intermediate to Advance level of English proficiency.
