Job Description

Eligibility and Qualifications: 1.BCom /ICWA with more than 5 years of experience in finance and accounting. 2. Experience in Projects preferred 3. Comfortable and experienced at dealing with various functions and global stakeholders. 4. Fluent in spoken English and written communication. 5. Good knowledge of Indian Direct /Indirect Taxes/Custom Duties/Transfer Pricing and IFRS 6. Well versed with Project Accounting Responsibilities: 1. Own and ensure 3-way GRV process is adhered to in a timely manner 2. Maintain and Monitor PO register 3. Ensure all CPO payments including Office owner, utilities, Vendors and others are made without any delay 4. Support Operations in all Project activities, including HR, Custom Duties, GST, and Income Tax functions. 5.Ensure timely billing of Clients and follow-up on all outstanding payments. 6. Based in Chennai, with the ability to efficiently undertake ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Project/Finance/General Manager 7. Ensure project cost accounting/WIP/Cashflow is monitored and any issues brough to the Project Manager/General Manager' attention without any delay 8. Ensure all Tax matters and notices from local/statutory authorities are handled promptly
