Job Summary:We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Bakery Commis or Senior Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. You will assist in the preparation and production of high-quality baked goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards at all times. Key Responsibilities:For Commis:Assist in daily bakery production under the guidance of senior chefs. Prepare doughs, batters, and basic bakery ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery station. Follow standard recipes and portion sizes. Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients. Learn and grow under the mentorship of senior team members. For Sr. CDP:Lead and manage a bakery section independently. Prepare and present a variety of baked goods to a high standard. Mentor junior staff and ensure smooth operations. Plan and coordinate bakery production schedules. Innovate and contribute to menu development. Maintain cost control and minimize waste. Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Brewing all coffee and non coffee beverages as per the SOP's of the organisation, welcome guests to the venue, provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists for table seats, Manage table reservations if any, Escort customers to assigned dining areas or seating arrangements, provide menus and product related information, assist guest in placing food and beverage orders, informing guests of the menu items on offer and providing information as and when requested regarding product details, taking customer food and beverage and other related requests and orders, coordinating with other front team members, coordinating with the coffee brew bar and kitchen for smooth dispensing of orders, greet customers upon their departure, coordinate about available seating options, Maintain a clean café area, cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly), answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries, Ensure regular maintenance and cleaning schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas including guest seating areas main restaurant or café floor, follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets and all ancillary operations for the smooth functioning of the café.
