Job Description

Role Overview

Were looking for a Lead Copywriter who will own and define the voice of Probo across all touchpoints

From thumb-stopping performance ads and witty social posts to compelling push notifications and impactful brand films you will shape how India hears and feels Probo.

Youll work closely with the brand, growth, product, and design teams to craft high-converting, insight-led communication that inspires action, builds trust, and turns users into fans.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Communication Strategy & Execution

Define and maintain Probos tone of voice across channels.

Translate marketing objectives into engaging narratives and action-driven content.

Ensure consistency in messaging across all customer touchpoints.

Creative Copywriting Across Formats

Social Media: Topical, meme-worthy, witty posts that drive engagement.

Performance Ads: Clear, persuasive, experiment-driven copy for banners, videos, L-bands, and more.

Brand Films & Campaigns: Long-format storytelling and conceptual copywriting for brand-building films.

Notifications & WhatsApp: Crisp, click-worthy copies for growth campaigns, CLM, and re-engagement flows.

Product & UX Copy: Collaborate with product teams to ensure microcopy (onboarding, tooltips, empty states) aligns with the brand voice.

Growth & Data-Driven Messaging

Work with the Growth & CLM teams to optimize messaging for CTR, conversion, and retention

A/B test variations to identify what hooks and converts best.

Collaboration & Mentorship

Work closely with designers, video editors, and motion graphic artists to bring stories to life.

Mentor junior writers, when hired, and help build a high-performing in-house content team.

What Were Looking For

3-4 years of hands-on copywriting experience in fast-growing consumer tech, D2C brands, or creative agencies.

Strong portfolio with work across digital, video, growth marketing, and brand.

Excellent command over short-form and long-form writing in English (Hindi proficiency is a plus).

Deep understanding of digital trends, pop culture, and internet-first language.

Strong grasp of performance metrics understands how to write for CTRs, CVRs, and user activation.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and feedback-driven environment.
