About the Role: We are seeking a skilled HVAC BOQ Draftsman to prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimations, and draft quotations for HVAC projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and experience in estimation, tendering, and project documentation. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed BOQ for HVAC systems including VRF, ductables, chillers, and allied equipment. Draft accurate cost estimates and quotations in line with client requirements. Review tender documents, technical specifications, and drawings to extract relevant data. Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for price collection and technical inputs. Ensure all estimations are compliant with industry standards and project specifications. Assist in technical submissions, proposal documentation, and revisions as required. Maintain systematic records of cost data, vendor databases, and previous project estimates. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2–5 years of experience in HVAC estimation/BOQ preparation. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation tools. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment sizing, and industry standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tender documents. Attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations. Good communication and documentation skills. Preferred: Prior experience in drafting quotations for VRF/Ductable systems. Vendor coordination and negotiation exposure. Familiarity with local codes and international standards.
