Controls IT Associate

Role Overview: You will be responsible for performing SOX 404 Information Technology Audits, conducting Tests of Design and Tests of Operating effectiveness of controls on client engagements. Additionally, you will ensure quality delivery by reviewing work for completeness and accuracy within established turnaround times or allotted budget. It will be your responsibility to ensure that established budgets and timelines are met, and proactively communicate any anticipated deviations to the engagement lead. Key Responsibilities: - Perform SOX 404 Information Technology Audits by conducting Tests of Design and Tests of Operating effectiveness of controls on client engagements - Ensure quality delivery by reviewing work for completeness and accuracy within established turnaround times or allotted budget - Ensure established budgets and timelines are met, proactively communicating any anticipated deviations to the engagement lead Qualifications Required: - Proficient knowledge of IT security in areas like IT general controls (ITGC), Logical access, Change management, Computer operations, Cloud Computing, Network Security, and SDLC - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Excellent written and spoken communication skills - Strong willingness to learn and work effectively across multicultural teams with logical thinking and problem-solving skills - 1 to 3 years of postgraduate experience in risk advisory/ related internal audit/ SOX audit experience, preferably in Big 4 or related business experience - UG in Computer Science or Statistics, Engineering or Accounting, or BBA with a current Masters in business administration About Grant Thornton INDUS: Grant Thornton INDUS comprises GT U.S. Shared Services Center India Pvt Ltd and Grant Thornton U.S. Knowledge and Capability Center India Pvt Ltd.
