Role & responsibilities Oversee the management of multiple Contract Manufacturers (Co Man) offering a diverse range of products within the foods category, aligning with company's operational strategy. Direct the Contract Manufacturing team in establishing a new Green Field plant dedicated to blending and packaging, ensuring compliance with stringen quality standards. Participate in projects related to Contract Manufacturing, ensuring adherence to project timelines through effective communication, coordination, and closure with Contract Manufacturers. Ensure that Contract Manufacturing partners meet long-term techno-commercial obligations, including evaluating and establishing new manufacturing facilities to meet evolving business needs. Negotiate and finalize contractual terms with Contract Manufacturing partners on an annual and ongoing basis, work closely with procurement to evaluate purchase price variances and update cost sheets accordingly. Facilitate the timely issuance of purchase orders to Contract Manufacturing partners in adherence to procurement policies, ensuring punctual delivery of goods and services as per contractual agreements. Coordinate closely with all internal stakeholders on launch projects, collaborating with various departments such as Marketing, Sales, R&D (Product & Packaging), and the Supply Chain Management Extended Team to align the Contract Manufacturing network with new innovations. Cultivate and sustain strong vendor relationships, actively seek collaboration opportunities with vendors and service providers to foster mutual business growth. Monitor Contract Manufacturers' adherence to quality and regulatory standards, overseeing regular audits and closures as necessary to maintain compliance. Supervise and ensure initial production trials in Contract Manufacturing, work closely with project stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition, timely approvals, and the successful rollout of final finished products, achieving first-time accuracy and on-schedule product launches. Preferred candidate profile Must have experience in Wheat based products (atta, maida, suji)
