Continental Chef Commi 1

We are looking for an experienced Continental Chef Commi 1 to join our hotel's culinary team. The role requires someone hardworking, passionate about cooking, and committed to maintaining high culinary standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook continental dishes as per restaurant recipes and standards.
• Handle the continental section during service with guidance from senior chefs.
• Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of food.
• Assist in daily prep work, stocking, and proper storage of ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation at all times.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen SOPs.
• Coordinate with other kitchen sections for smooth and timely service.
• Minimise food wastage and maintain proper portion control.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Continental Commi 1 or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of continental cooking techniques and ingredients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior chefs.
• Good hygiene, discipline, positive attitude, and teamwork skills.
