You will be responsible for researching and writing 5 articles daily on various trending topics covering lifestyle, Bollywood, wellness, money, relationships, food, and more. Your content should be created in multiple formats such as listicles, explainers, news bites, trivia pieces, how-tos, etc. It is crucial to ensure that all articles are fact-checked, plagiarism-free, and grammatically sound, while also aligning with BIG Lives" editorial voice - vibrant, relatable, and insightful. Additionally, you will need to optimize the content for SEO by incorporating appropriate keywords, headlines, and subheadings. Responding to editorial feedback promptly and revising content accordingly is also part of your role. Keeping up to date with current trends and proposing fresh story ideas are essential for this position. To qualify for this role, you should be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or a related field. Strong writing skills in English with a good grasp of grammar and structure are necessary. Any interest or prior exposure to lifestyle, entertainment, or digital media writing would be advantageous. Working effectively under tight deadlines, receiving and implementing editorial feedback constructively, and possessing a basic understanding of SEO, content formatting, and digital trends are preferred. Familiarity with tools like Google Docs, Grammarly, and other writing aids would also be beneficial.
