Content Writer

Illumin Academy is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Creator with a strong understanding of Health and Social Care education to develop high-quality promotional and informational video content. The role focuses on creating engaging digital content that promotes courses, learner journeys, institutional values, and career pathways in health and social care, including NHS and care sector opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation and Video Production

• Plan and script promotional videos related to health and social care courses, training programmes, and academy initiatives.
• Create short-form and long-form video content for social media, websites, advertisements, webinars, and campaigns.
• Develop learner-focused content such as testimonials, induction videos, course explainers, and awareness videos.

Health & Social Care Relevance

• Ensure all content aligns with health and social care standards, terminology, ethics, and professional expectations.
• Translate complex health and social care concepts into clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate visual content.
• Work closely with academic and training teams to maintain accuracy and sector relevance.

Branding and Promotion

• Maintain consistency with Illumin Academy’s branding, tone, and messaging across all digital content.
• Support marketing campaigns aimed at student recruitment, employer engagement, and institutional visibility.
• Contribute creative ideas to improve reach, engagement, and conversion through digital platforms.

Collaboration and Planning

• Coordinate with marketing, academic, and management teams to understand campaign goals and content requirements.
• Manage content schedules, deadlines, and revisions efficiently.
• Stay updated with digital trends, video formats, and platform-specific best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Content Creator, Video Creator, or Digital Media Executive.
• Strong video scripting, filming, and editing skills.
• Working knowledge of video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or equivalent software.
• Understanding of social media platforms and promotional video strategies.
• Basic knowledge or prior exposure to Health and Social Care, NHS, or education/training sectors is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Irinjalakuda, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
