Content Writer

Role & responsibilities

• Write and optimize website content, blogs, articles, and marketing copy to drive traffic and engagement
• Create a wide range of content formats including eBooks, whitepapers, case studies, brochures, and social media posts
• Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, technologies, and competitors to produce insightful, authoritative content
• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop creative concepts and enhance visual storytelling
• Apply SEO best practices, including keyword research, meta content, and internal linking strategies
• Analyze content performance and identify content gaps or opportunities
• Proofread and edit content to ensure grammatical accuracy, tone consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in content writing for B2B, preferably in IT or technology sectors
• Strong command of written and verbal English
• Proven ability to create high-quality content that adapts to different audiences and platforms
• Understanding of enterprise software and tech concepts
• Familiarity with website content writing including taglines, headlines, blurbs, and calls to action
• Ability to conduct research and turn complex information into easy-to-understand content
• Knowledge of CMS tools such as WordPress (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to deadlines

Bonus Points:

• Experience writing SEO-optimized content
• Exposure to social media copywriting or working with creative/design teams
• Background in journalism, communications, or copywriting in a fast-paced agency environment

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Portfolio of published work that demonstrates content creation across formats
