Laravel Developer

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Laravel Developer with strong backend expertise to build and maintain robust, scalable web applications. This is a long-term remote opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys tackling challenges, and is passionate about writing clean and efficient code. What You'll Be Doing • Build, maintain, and optimize scalable applications using Laravel 10 and PHP 8 • Design and consume RESTful APIs, including Shopify API and internal microservices • Architect MySQL database schemas and write efficient queries and migrations • Deploy and manage web applications on AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS • Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery • Follow clean code principles and maintain comprehensive documentation • Participate in pull requests, code reviews, and continuous improvement practices • Troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently in production environments Your Toolkit: Required Skills & Experience • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel (preferably version 9 or 10) • Expertise in PHP 8, Laravel best practices, Eloquent ORM, and Blade templating • Proficient with MySQL including database design, optimization, and complex joins • Strong experience with Shopify API integration and webhook handling • Comfortable working with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch • Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery • Experience with OAuth, JWT, API token authentication, and data validation • Familiarity with Git and collaborative version control using GitHub or GitLab • Strong analytical and debugging skills with attention to detail Bonus Points If You Have • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows • Knowledge of unit testing and automated test frameworks • Prior experience working on CRM, ERP, or healthcare systems Why Join Us • Work on real-world, user-focused applications • Exposure to emerging front-end trends and technologies • Collaborate with experienced developers and UI/UX teams • Flexible work environment and a culture of ownership • Competitive salary, continuous learning, and growth opportunities About Bacancy Bacancy is one of the leading software development companies that started its journey back in 2011.
