Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Content Writer with a strong background in the immigration sector, particularly in crafting high-quality Statements of Purpose (SOPs) and supporting documents for visa applicants. The ideal candidate will be able to write clear, concise, and compelling content that meets immigration requirements and resonates with diverse international audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and write SOPs for study, work, visitor, and permanent residency visa applications (e.g., Canada, USA, UK, Australia, etc.)
• Customize SOPs based on individual client profiles, background, career goals, and immigration purpose
• Ensure all SOPs align with embassy/high commission expectations, visa category requirements, and latest immigration guidelines
• Conduct interviews with clients (if required) to gather personalized information for SOPs and cover letters
• Collaborate with immigration consultants, legal teams, and editors to maintain factual accuracy and tone
• Optimize long-form content for SEO while maintaining clarity and reader-friendliness
• Stay up to date with immigration policies, changes, and trends across major countries

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Law, Communications, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in content writing.
• Proven experience writing SOPs, LOEs (Letters of Explanation), and personal statements for visa or university applications
• Excellent command of written English with strong editing and grammar skills
• Ability to write professionally yet empathetically, keeping immigration-sensitive contexts in mind

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with the SOP expectations of institutions and embassies (e.g., IRCC, USCIS, UKVI)
• Experience working with immigration or overseas education consultancies
• SEO knowledge and experience with CMS platforms like WordPress
• Ability to handle multiple SOP assignments and client profiles at once
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients (verbal or written)
