Role Overview:

As a Content Editor, you will play a key role in ensuring that our published articles maintain the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and readability. While your primary responsibility will be editing articles in the entertainment beat

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and review articles for grammar, readability, flow, tone, and adherence to FandomWire’s house style.
• Fact-check content to ensure accuracy and credibility.
• Collaborate with writers to provide constructive feedback and improve overall content quality.
• Ensure timely editing and publishing of articles to meet deadlines.
• Stay updated with trends in entertainment, anime, and WWE to bring fresh perspective and quality control to published content.
• Maintain consistency across all published pieces in terms of voice, tone, and formatting.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a content editor, copy editor, or similar role in digital publishing.
• Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and style.
• Deep knowledge of

  entertainment industry trends

  (movies, TV shows, streaming platforms).
• Expertise in

  either Anime or WWE

  (storylines, history, fan culture, latest trends).
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (preferably

  WordPress

  ).
• Ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience editing for an entertainment or pop culture website.
• Ability to rewrite headlines and improve SEO without losing creativity.
• Experience in mentoring writers and shaping content strategies.
