Content Developer Intern

As a Content Developer Intern at Overflow Collective Studios, a content boutique startup based in Chennai, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Founder to create compelling content for blogs, websites, and brand messaging projects. You will receive training and mentorship in content writing, strategy, editing, and more, along with portfolio-building opportunities and a certificate upon completion. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Writing content for blogs, websites, and social media platforms - Assisting in brand voice development and messaging strategy - Repurposing long-form content into bite-sized formats such as carousels and email copy - Using Canva to design simple, on-brand content carousels (no prior design experience required) - Conducting light research for client projects and content topics - Contributing to Overflow's internal content, including case studies, mini blogs, and templates - Participating in creative meetings and client calls as necessary To be a great fit for this role, you must: - Genuinely love writing - Be studying or recently graduated in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field - Have basic Canva skills or a willingness to learn quickly - Be eager to learn, open to feedback, and able to commit 20 hours per week for 6 months - Be based in Chennai and comfortable with hybrid work arrangements (remote work with occasional meetups) - Bonus: Engage in writing for enjoyment, such as blogs, poems, Instagram captions, or essays To apply for this internship opportunity, please send an email to merlin@overflowcollectivestudios.com with your resume, a brief note on why you love writing, and 12 writing samples showcasing your voice and style.
