Content Developer Intern

Overflow Collective Studios is a content boutique startup based in Chennai. They are deeply committed to creating content that is rooted in clarity, voice, and values. They work with solopreneurs, small businesses, and purpose-driven brands to help them find the right words to express who they are. This could involve writing a blog that finally sounds authentic to them, reworking a website to actually drive conversions, or helping a new founder build their brand from scratch. **Role Overview:** As a Content Developer Intern at Overflow Collective Studios, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Founder to write and develop content for blogs, websites, and brand messaging projects for real clients. You will receive training and mentorship in content writing, strategy, editing, and more, along with portfolio-building opportunities and a certificate upon completion. **Key Responsibilities:** - Writing content for blogs, websites, and social media - Assisting in brand voice development and messaging strategy - Repurposing long-form content into bite-sized formats (e.g., carousels, email copy) - Using Canva to design simple, on-brand content carousels (guidance provided) - Conducting light research for client projects and content topics - Contributing to Overflow's internal content (case studies, mini blogs, templates, etc.) - Participating in creative meetings and client calls as needed **Qualifications Required:** - Genuine love for writing - Studying or recently graduated in English, Journalism, Communications, or similar field - Basic Canva skills or willingness to learn fast - Eagerness to learn and open to feedback - Ability to commit 20 hours/week for 6 months - Based in Chennai and comfortable with hybrid work (remote + occasional meetups) - Bonus: Enjoy writing for pleasure in various forms like blogs, poems, Instagram captions, or essays If you are ready to apply and grow as a writer, Overflow Collective Studios is excited to hear from you!
