Consulting Lead - MDG

Role & responsibilities

• Working with SAP functional consultants analyzing data Governance requirements
• Support the Functional Consultant during business process discussions with customer.
• Responsible for making solution recommendations considering scope and client requirements.
• Design and implement the technical solution based on the client requirements.
• Prepare the technical specifications based on the functional specifications supplied by the functional consultant
• Should be able to work independently and analyze problems and provide solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5-12 years of experience in Master Data Management & Governance.
• Should have worked on Implementation projects involving SAP MDG Solution for either of the following: Customer, Vendor, Material, Financial masters etc.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge, and/or a proven record of success, in executing various functional and technical aspects of SAP MDG projects following industry best practices involving Data Modelling, Process Modelling, UI Modelling, Business Validation - Rules Modelling, Derivations and Data Replication Framework (DRF).
• Good understanding of SAP MDG technical framework includes ABAP Object Oriented Programming, BADI, BAPI/RFC/FM, Workflows, BRF+, Enterprise Services, IDoc, Floorplan Manager, WebDynPro, ABAP Workflow, Fiori and MDG API framework.
• Experience on MDG UI configuration, FPM UI enhancement, context-based adaptation, customizing, configuration, along with knowledge in WebDynpro and Floor Plan Manager
• Should have experience in process modelling configuration (Business Activity, Change Request type, Workflow, Rule Based Workflow BRF+), Standard Data Model Enhancement, Custom Data Model Creation.
• Ability to work on migration of existing master data into MDG hub, validations and derivations using BADIs and BRF+ Should have worked on data replication framework (DRF), data import using DIF, SOA service, ALE configuration, key & value mapping knowledge on integrating MDG with SAP Information Steward and SAP Data Services for Data Remediation and Data Validation respectively.
• Knowledge of S4 HANA Migration projects with good understanding on SD, MM, PM, Retail process as a technical consultant.
• Experience in supporting UAT phase and go-live period of MDG Implementation project.
• A wide experience across a range of SAP ERP in Retail and Fashion areas is a plus
