Job Description

Job Title: Consultant Key Responsibilities As a Consultant L3 Support Engineer, you will: Production Support & Incident Management: Provide L3-level support for Java-based enterprise applications, focusing on incident management and providing permanent resolutions. Deep-Dive Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of incidents, root cause analysis , and troubleshoot complex issues. Performance Optimization: Conduct performance tuning for applications and database queries in Oracle PL/SQL. Data Streaming Management: Monitor and manage Kafka message queues, diagnosing delays and resolving bottlenecks in streaming data pipelines. Collaborative Resolution: Coordinate effectively with development teams for bug fixes and enhancements, implementing hotfixes or facilitating code changes. Documentation & On-Call: Ensure proper documentation of support procedures and resolutions, and participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents. DevOps Collaboration: Work with DevOps teams to deploy and validate patches or configuration changes. Mandatory Skills & Experience Technical Proficiency: Java: Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, Exception Handling, and Multithreading . Oracle PL/SQL: Proficient in writing/debugging complex queries, stored procedures, and packages , including performance tuning. Apache Kafka: Good working knowledge of Kafka producers/consumers, partitions, lag monitoring, and troubleshooting . Microservices & APIs: Familiarity with microservices architecture and REST APIs is a plus. Monitoring Tools: Experience with tools like Splunk, Grafana, or AppDynamics is desirable. Experience & Qualifications: Proven experience as a proactive and technically strong L3 Support Engineer handling production support and incident management for enterprise applications built on Java, Oracle PL/SQL, and Kafka . Demonstrated ability for deep-dive issue resolution, root cause analysis, performance tuning , and coordination with development teams for bug fixes and enhancements. Essential Professional Skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills . Strong communication skills . Ability to handle high-pressure support situations with minimal supervision.
