Job Description

As a Consultant with Data & Analytics (D&A) capabilities and prior working experience in Financial Due Diligence or M&A advisory teams at Kroll, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Support the delivery of Financial Due Diligence D&A services, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful analysis. - Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations in Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, or any other data Business Intelligence (BI) tools to translate business logic into clear client-ready outputs. - Create and maintain Excel Macros and VBA-based workflows to automate repetitive analysis and improve efficiency. - Work with large and varied data sources (flat files, ERP systems, databases) to structure, cleanse, and interpret complex datasets. - Use statistical tools to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends that influence business performance. - Participate in management discussions to understand the underlying data available or communicate data needs and assess limitations in providing such data sets for the diligence process. - Collaborate with cross-border teams (US and Europe) to drive consistency and best practices. - Assist clients in building business cases, identifying value creation opportunities, and applying data-driven approaches to decision-making. - Contribute to buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements. - Provide ad-hoc support to the Due Diligence team on analytics-driven tasks. Qualifications required for this role include: - MBA (Systems/ Finance/ Data & Analytics) or Engineering (Computer Science, ECE, Mechanical and Civil) or Chartered/ Cost Accountant with ERP/ Data & Analytics experience. - 5 years of relevant Data Analytics experience in Due Diligence, M&A Advisory. - Expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) tools, especially Power BI, for building dashboards, creating complex data models, and developing workflow-driven insights. - Proficiency in Excel Macros/VBA for automation, custom functions, and process optimization. - Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Experience integrating multiple data source types and creating automated workflows. - Financial, accounting, and analytical background with the ability to synthesize findings into clear insights. - Superior problem-solving, critical thinking, and data interpretation skills. - Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members. - Strong client relationship management capabilities with proven experience in professional services or consulting environments. - Ability to balance independent execution with collaborative teamwork.
