Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with 0 to 1 years of experience to join our team as a Consultant in the TAX - ITTS - Advisory department, located in Chennai. ### Roles and Responsibility Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services across multiple client departments. Provide technical expertise and support on tax-related matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and due diligence exercises. Draft and vet transaction documents such as share purchase agreements, joint ventures agreements, escrow agreements, and term sheets. Stay updated with key technical and functional skills, industry trends, and developments in law. Offer insightful and practical solutions to complex problems using a practical approach. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored advice and support. ### Job Requirements CA qualification is mandatory. Strong knowledge of legal issues and ability to stay current with changes in law. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Familiarity with EY's competencies in Business Tax Services, Global Compliance and Reporting, Global Law, Indirect Tax, International Tax, and Transaction Services.
