Role Overview

We are seeking a self-motivated techno-functional engineer with over 5 years of experience in Oracle R12, PL/SQL development, and tax-related configurations across Order Management (OM), Purchasing (PO), and Financials (AR/AP). The engineer will play a key role in building and enhancing ONESOURCE Integrations for Oracle, a critical component of our product suite.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Oracle R12 and ONESOURCE Determination.
  
• Provide L2 support and troubleshoot issues reported by CS/PS teams and customers.
  
• Act as an Oracle Integration SME during product development phases.
  
• Install patches and configure Oracle R12 environments for various tax scenarios.
  
• Collaborate with BSA, PMs, CS, PS, and Sales teams to deliver robust integration solutions.
  
• Prepare technical documentation including requirement specs, installation guides, and integration process flows.
  
• Analyze Oracle code and propose creative solutions to enhance product capabilities.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle R12 modules: OM, AR, PO, AP.
  
• Strong hands-on experience in SQL and PL/SQL development.
  
• Functional knowledge of O2C (Order to Cash) and P2P (Procure to Pay) processes.
  
• Experience with Oracle EBTax and tax localization configurations.
  
• Proven ability to install and configure Oracle patches.
  
• Experience supporting clients in the US or Europe.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  
• Experience with Oracle Autoinvoice Process and test script creation.
  
• Integration experience with third-party tax engines (e.g., ONESOURCE, Vertex, Taxware).
  
• Proficiency in Oracle Concurrent Program development and AOL technology.
  
• Experience deploying Java pages using OA Framework.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  

Desired Skills

• Experience with JDeveloper, Java/XML development.
  
• Familiarity with WebLogic/WebSphere/JBoss application servers.
  
• Basic database administration and performance tuning.
  
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion architecture.
  
• Experience with shell scripting.
  

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
