Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer to join our engineering team focused on building robust data pipelines, APIs, and cloud-integrated services that support telecom OSS/BSS operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PySpark, FastAPI, and cloud/on-prem data workflows, and a strong understanding of service provisioning and activation in telecom environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable

    ETL pipelines

    using

    Apache Airflow

    ,

    PySpark

    , and

    MariaDB

  • Build and maintain high-performance

    RESTful APIs

    using

    FastAPI

  • Implement

    cloud-to-on-prem data synchronization

    for batch and near real-time (event-driven) workflows
  • Integrate

    AWS services

    (S3, SNS, Direct Connect) with on-prem infrastructure for data ingestion and distribution
  • Develop and support

    RabbitMQ-based messaging systems

    for asynchronous processing
  • Write optimized

    SQL queries

    for

    PostgreSQL

    and

    MariaDB

  • Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and ensure data integrity and availability
  • Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and platform teams to support operational and analytical needs
  • Apply domain knowledge in

    OSS/BSS

    , service provisioning, and activation to align backend services with telecom workflows

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of backend development experience with

    Python

  • Strong proficiency in

    FastAPI

    ,

    PySpark

    , and

    Apache Airflow

  • Experience with

    RabbitMQ

    ,

    SQL optimization

    , and

    data pipeline monitoring

  • Familiarity with

    AWS services

    and hybrid cloud integration
  • Solid understanding of

    OSS/BSS systems

    and telecom service workflows
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively
