Role Overview: As a Consultant in Performance Analytics within the Advisors & Consulting Services group at Mastercard, you will be part of a team specializing in translating data into valuable insights for clients. Your main responsibility will be to design, implement, and scale analytical solutions using both qualitative and quantitative techniques. By leveraging Mastercard and customer data, you will contribute to the development of analytics strategies and programs to unlock client value. Key Responsibilities: - Provide creative input on projects across various industries and problem statements - Contribute to analytics strategies and programs for regional and global clients - Collaborate with the Mastercard team to understand client needs, agenda, and risks - Develop relationships with client analysts/managers and act as a trusted partner - Identify key findings, prepare presentations, and deliver recommendations to clients - Independently analyze trends, patterns, issues, and anomalies in defined areas - Lead internal and client meetings and contribute to project management - Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital - Receive mentorship from performance analytics leaders for professional growth Qualifications Required: Basic qualifications: - Undergraduate degree with experience in data and analytics - Experience managing clients or internal stakeholders - Proficiency in data analytics software (e.g., Python, R, SQL, SAS) - Advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Ability to analyze large datasets and synthesize key findings - Effective communication in English and local office language - Eligibility to work in the country of application and apply for travel visas as needed Preferred Qualifications: - Additional experience in building, managing, and maintaining database structures - Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and Hadoop framework - Ability to provide recommendations through descriptive analytics and business intelligence - Experience managing tasks in a team environment - Problem-solving skills and relevant industry expertise Additional Company Details: Mastercard emphasizes the importance of information security for all employees and expects adherence to security policies and practices.
