Mastercard's Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard's rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies. We provide powerful strategic insights and recommendations to a diverse global customer base across various industries, including banking, payments, retail, and restaurants. As a Consultant, Performance Analytics , you'll be an integral part of this team, translating complex data into actionable insights. You'll leverage Mastercard and customer data to design, implement, and scale analytical solutions for our clients. This role requires a blend of qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques, the use of enterprise applications, and the ability to synthesize analyses into clear recommendations and impactful narratives. Role : As a Consultant, Performance Analytics, you will: Client Impact Provide creative input on projects across a wide range of industries and problem statements. Contribute to the development of analytics strategies and programs for regional and global clients by leveraging data and technology solutions to unlock client value. Collaborate with the Mastercard team to deeply understand clients needs, agendas, and risks . Develop strong working relationships with client analysts and managers, acting as a trusted and reliable partner . Team Collaboration & Culture: Collaborate effectively with senior project delivery consultants to identify key findings , prepare compelling presentations, and deliver impactful recommendations to clients. Independently identify trends, patterns, issues, and anomalies within defined areas of analysis, and structure and synthesize your own analysis to highlight relevant findings. Lead internal and client meetings, and contribute actively to project management . Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital . Receive valuable mentorship from performance analytics leaders for continuous professional growth and development. Qualifications Undergraduate degree with experience in data and analytics, specifically in business intelligence and/or descriptive, predictive, or prescriptive analytics. Experience managing clients or internal stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and synthesize key findings . Proficiency using data analytics software (e.g., Python, R, SQL, SAS). Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint . Ability to perform multiple tasks for multiple clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent communication skills in English and the local office language (if applicable). Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as the ability to apply for travel visas as required by travel needs. Preferred Qualifications Additional experience in data and analytics, including building, managing, and maintaining database structures, working with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), or working with the Hadoop framework and coding using Impala, Hive, or PySpark. Ability to analyze large datasets and synthesize key findings to provide recommendations via descriptive analytics and business intelligence. Experience managing tasks or workstreams in a collaborative team environment. Strong ability to identify problems, brainstorm and analyze solutions, and implement the best approaches.
