Description
As a Business Transformation Consultant, you will work closely with client business and account leadership teams to align transformation programs with technical solutions that meet their business needs. You will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to solicit strategic imperatives, support business unit managers in leveraging business architecture, and assist in creating and implementing client business plans. Your role will involve providing input into the governance cycle to support key goal achievement, planning and executing scenarios, and delivering bottom-line value for the business. Additionally, you will help the client business and leadership team with problem definition, contribute to business and technology consulting projects, and perform assessments of client business processes, organizational change, IT processes, and technology landscape. You will be responsible for developing a business and technical architecture strategy based on an understanding of various business scenarios and motivations. Your key responsibilities will include applying a structured business architecture approach and methodology, capturing tactical and strategic enterprise goals, defining business functions, processes, data relationships, and roles within the organization. You will also be involved in designing and implementing solutions, evaluating technical requirements, studying best practices, and contributing to solution design reviews. In the area of practice development, you will provide feedback on current process gaps that can be improved, identify best practices, tools, and solution accelerators, and review solutions to create reusable assets. You will stay updated on new developments in the product/technology solution area, analyze industry trends, and provide insights for solution development. Furthermore, you will engage in technology consulting advisory, collaborate with product selection groups, and work with technology specialists to identify ways to leverage products. Your role will involve utilizing specialized knowledge in various domains, COTS product features, competitive landscape, different implementations, technology concepts, process consulting, project management tools, and techniques, among others. Overall, you will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in utilizing software tools for analysis and reporting. Your experience in finance-related tasks such as order processing, invoicing, cash application, credit management, or dispute resolution will be beneficial for this role. Measures of your success in this role will include the delivery of transformational value to customers, utilization in billable roles, customer feedback, certifications obtained, and the design of reusable components for Centers of Excellence. Your contribution to design and implementation support, practice development, knowledge management, solution development, product selection, technology consulting advisory, and alliance management will be critical to achieving the desired outcomes.
