Finance Strategy
Join our Finance Strategy practice to help Deloitte client service teams advise and develop the strategy for the driving the CFO organization for future of Finance. You will work with world-class teams and insights, helping support delivery in challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to help unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we collaborate with teams to enable transforming the finance function of Fortune 500 organizations.
Position Summary
Level: Consultant
Work you'll do:
- Advise CFOs to unlock enterprise value, modernize finance, and optimize capital.
- Shape client Finance vision, identify capability gaps, and define digital strategies
- Guide development of next-generation capabilities and transformation programs.
- Assess maturity, benchmark against industry standards, and create action plans.
- Analyze client data for insights and actionable recommendations.
- Advise on prioritizing finance investments to drive value and performance.
- Conduct interviews, lead workshops, present findings, and deliver Finance Lab.
- Liaise with stakeholders for high-quality outputs and deliverable
- Design innovative tools and NextGen solutions to support client engagements.
- Manage workstreams, mitigate risks, mentor team members, and build strong client relationships.

Our Finance Strategy offering works as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives. We help advise, implement, and deliver as-a-service recommendations, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to guide enterprise-wide decision-making, elevate the finance function with digital capabilities and help create impact within their organization.We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong communication skills, ability to work with teams, navigate steep learning curve, and demonstrate management consulting skills to be part of the Finance Strategy offering.

- Eagerness to Learn: Interest in understanding how Finance teams at leading companies shape their vision and strategy.
- Support for Finance Transformation: Willingness to assist with projects aimed at improving financial processes, data, people, and technology.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to participate in assessments of current finance operations and contribute to recommendations for improvement.
- Project Support: Desire to help with the strategy, design, and execution of broad transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of ERP and Digital Tools: Basic familiarity with finance applications like SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Anaplan, etc., and curiosity about the latest technologies such as Robotic Process Automation, Generative AI, and Predictive Analytics.
- Finance Process Interest: Understanding of core financial processes like Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Financial Planning & Analysis.
- Global Perspective: Openness to working with international teams or global stakeholders.
- Project Management Aptitude: An interest in learning or supporting project management activities.
- Problem-Solving Orientation: Analytical thinking and comfort in processing financial and non-financial data to drive insights.
Education:
- MBA / MS / CA from a leading school in India or abroad
