Our consultants form a pivotal part of F5 Networks Professional Services delivery organization, working across diverse environments from public and private clouds to enterprise data centers- They help customers implement F5 s security, automation, and cloud solutions with responsiveness and technical expertise- This role offers the opportunity to explore new technologies, solve complex problems, and deliver real value to clients-

Consultants operate with a high degree of independence, identifying what s needed to complete assignments efficiently while collaborating with a global team of like-minded professionals- Prior experience with F5 technologies is appreciated but not required what s essential is strong communication, analytical thinking, and a commitment to quality-

You ll interact with global customers, so fluency in English and the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences is key- In return, F5 offers access to industry-leading training, labs, and expert communities to support your continuous learning and professional growth- The role will be based in Mumbai, India-

What you will do:

Deliver labor associated with custom scoped Statements of Work to F5 customers-
Provide technical responsibilities that may include, but are not limited to, problem identification, systems architecture definition, hardware/software specification, design, implementation, testing, client training and solution deployment-
Effectively lead and deliver technical workshops
Manage customer interaction and engagement, including documentation and follow-up-
Maintain expert level proficiency of F5 products and technologies through self-directed and formal training-
Demonstrate ability to become trusted advisor within customer environment-
Demonstrate control of engagement and develop customer confidence in F5 s ability to resolve critical issues in a timely and effective manner

What you will bring:

BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience-
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a focus on architecture and design of Application Delivery and Security solutions-
Experience working with Linux, Unix and Windows, Cloud environments
Experience with network protocols and theory (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, MAC addresses, IP packets, DNS, and load balancing, etc-)
Good understanding of HTTP protocol and related technologies
Experience with network, security solutions, and technologies leading security solutions
Experience with public clouds: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure
Experience with virtualized and containerized environments: Kubernetes and Docker
Experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins
Experience with Scripting or development skills: Python, Ruby, Shell etc-
Working knowledge in F5 products and technologies is a plus
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently as well as prevalent local language-
Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills-
Ability to articulate and transfer complex ideas to a wide audience through both verbal and written communication-
Demonstrated strong written communication, presentation writing, and technical documentation skills-
Should be hands-on and be able to perform the role independently-
Demonstrable experience to work as part of a team of engineers and to deliver one or several projects simultaneously-
