Job Description: You are a dedicated and experienced Consultant ENT Specialist who will join our multidisciplinary team at Wonder Hospital. With a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a hospital setting, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a range of ear, nose, and throat conditions, ensuring excellent patient care and contributing to the department's success. Key Responsibilities: - Diagnose and treat a wide range of ENT conditions. - Perform routine and complex ENT surgeries and procedures. - Provide consultations for both inpatient and outpatient cases. - Offer guidance and medical advice to patients on managing their ENT issues. - Coordinate with other specialists and healthcare providers for holistic patient care. Clinical Expertise: - Manage acute and chronic ENT conditions focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. - Stay updated on the latest developments and techniques in ENT treatments and surgeries. - Utilize diagnostic tools and imaging technologies for accurate patient assessment. Surgical Skills: - Perform various ENT surgeries including ear, sinus, and throat surgeries. - Assist in the preparation and post-operative care of surgical patients. Patient Education: - Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and preventive care. - Provide guidance on postoperative care, lifestyle modifications, and rehabilitation. Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain accurate patient records following hospital standards and legal requirements. Collaboration and Multidisciplinary Approach: - Work closely with nursing staff and specialists to deliver integrated care. - Participate in department meetings, case discussions, and medical rounds. Quality Control and Compliance: - Adhere to hospital protocols, policies, and medical standards. - Contribute to quality assurance activities and patient safety initiatives. Qualifications & Requirements: - MBBS or equivalent medical degree. - Postgraduate qualification (MS/DNB) in ENT from a recognized institution. - Minimum 3 years' experience as a Consultant ENT Specialist in a hospital or clinical setting. - Strong clinical and surgical expertise in ENT disorders. Skills and Competencies: - Excellent diagnostic skills and understanding of ENT conditions. - Proficient in a wide range of ENT surgeries. - Strong communication skills for effective patient education. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare environment. Certifications (optional but preferred): - Additional certifications or fellowship programs in ENT subspecialties.
