Position: Consultant/ Engineer Location: Chennai Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with 2-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in data visualization and analytics, with proficiency in Power BI, Python, DAX, and SQL Server. You will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights and creating interactive dashboards that drive business decisions. Job Description: - Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide insights into business performance. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data needs. - Utilize DAX to create calculated columns, measures, and tables to enhance data models. - Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from SQL Server databases. - Implement data transformation processes using Python for data cleaning and preparation. - Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data quality checks. - Optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability. - Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities. - Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices. Profile Description: - Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. - 2-5 years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization. - Proficiency in DAX for data modeling and calculations. - Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation. - Experience with Python for data analysis and transformation. - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is a plus. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and their integration with Power BI. - Understanding of business intelligence concepts and methodologies.
