Description
As a Data Scientist specializing in Healthcare Claims Analytics, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Analyze medical, pharmacy, and hospital claims data including CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, DRG, NPI, etc. - Identify patterns of fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) within claims data. - Develop predictive models for risk stratification, readmission prediction, and cost forecasting. - Engage in value-based care models, risk adjustment, and population health analytics. In addition, you will be responsible for Data Engineering & Management tasks such as: - Working with large-scale healthcare databases. - Utilizing SQL, Python, R, PySpark, and cloud-based big data solutions like AWS, Azure, GCP. Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - 4-6 years of experience in healthcare data science with a focus on medical claims analytics. - Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark for data analysis and modeling. - Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, XGBoost. - Strong expertise in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and NLP techniques. - Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements like HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and FWA detection. - Knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker.
