Consultant Delivery (Data Engineer)

Role Overview: As a Consultant Delivery (Data Engineer) at Worldline, you will be joining the Data Management team for a transformative Move to Cloud (M2C) project. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to migrating the data infrastructure to the cloud and optimizing data pipelines for performance and scalability. This role presents a unique opportunity for you to showcase your skills and knowledge in cloud-based solutions, specifically within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize strong knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD pipelines - Demonstrate proficiency in GCP services such as DataProc, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Workflows, Cloud Composer, and BigQuery - Employ extensive experience with ETL tools, particularly dbt Labs, and implement ETL best practices - Build and optimize data pipelines, architectures, and datasets from various data sources - Utilize SQL and Python, with experience in Spark for data processing - Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex requirements into technical solutions - Collaborate effectively within the team environment Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on cloud-based solutions, preferably within the GCP ecosystem - Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in Spark - Relevant certifications in Google Cloud Platform or other data engineering credentials are desirable Additional Details: Worldline values diversity and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and experiences to contribute to critical initiatives.
