The opportunity available is for the role of Consultant-National-Assurance-ASU in the Audit - Standards and Methodologies team based in Chennai, Bangalore. In the realm of ASU - Audit - Standards and Methodologies, our primary goal is to instill confidence and trust in a complex business environment. We achieve this by safeguarding the public interest, promoting transparency, enhancing investor confidence and economic growth, and nurturing talent to cultivate the future leaders of the business world. Our services encompass various aspects including External Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPO and other public offerings, Corporate Treasury - IFRS 9 accounting & implementation support, among others. Your key responsibilities in this role will involve: Technical Excellence - Audit Analytics - Sector-specific analytics (Advanced/Custom analytics) - Visualization - Automated analytics model development for statutory audit enablements - Data extraction from Client ERPs - Design, review, and enhance algorithms, systems, and processes for client data analysis, and implementation using appropriate tools and technologies - Hands-on experience in analytics in financial reporting - Proficiency in Machine Learning using R or Python with a robust statistical background - Knowledge of databases, ETL, and practical experience/theoretical knowledge in SQL - Proficiency in visualization tools like Tableau, Spotfire, Qlikview, etc. - Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and/or Oracle for data extraction - Proficiency in MS Office Suite (advanced Excel skills & Macros) - Experience in NLP/Web Scraping/Log Analytics/TensorFlow/AI/Beautiful Soup - Exposure to Iron Python/JavaScript Skills and attributes required for this role: To be eligible for this position, you should possess: Qualification - BE/B.Tech/Any graduate in computers Experience - 2 - 6 years of relevant experience What we offer: We are seeking individuals with the ability to collaborate effectively across various client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements.
