Construction Quality Supervisor @ Dahej

Role & responsibilities

• Study/Review and understand the project scope and specifications as well as the ITPs and Method statements with respect discipline.
• Verification of documents for releasing the spools to painting, NDT, PWHT, PAMI and verification of ISOS (Test) pack for hydro and pneumatic test release.
  Review the MTCs and NDT procedures.
• Review of certifications and documentation to ensue validity and compliance with specifications, drawings, manufacturing and inspection test plans.
• To check and review sub-contractors procedures and method statements, quality plans, ITP’s.
• Monitoring CS, SS and LTCS piping fabrication, erection and welding activities as per technical specification
• Welding Procedure review and conducting PQR Program (CS, SS, and LTCS).
• Verifying the approved welding procedure specification is properly exercised during welding.
• Check all fittings condition, pipe alignment and proper orientation during fit-up / installation.
• As per the QCP (Quality Control Plan) carry out the visual inspections before any welding activity. Monitor and record weather conditions periodically before commencing any welding activity.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for carrying out RT (Radiography Testing), UT (Ultrasonic Testing), and MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection), PT for readiness of the line for mechanical clearance.
• Review NDT reports from subcontractors and compile them for preparing test packs.
• Inspection of piping & equipment installation works.
• Calibration check of inspection tools with valid calibration/use date.
• Test pack preparation, Document verification and punch point issues to contractor.

Check of Painting Specification as per drawing / Specifications / Manufacturer’s specs

• Ensure all activities under his/her control and supervision are compliant with all the laws of land and statutory requirement.
• Conduct all operation of function, ensuring social responsibility and accountabilities by following the company guideline of the same.
• Be responsible for ethical operation under his control.
• Be responsible for prevention, detection and reporting of bribery and other forms of corruption including breach of code of conduct and other company regulation.
• Avoid all such activity that could lead to or imply breach of code of conduct, anti-bribery and anti-corruption etc.
• Formulate safety policies and procedures
• Conduct risk timely assessments.
• Train all employees in your health and safety procedures.
• Conduct frequent safety inspections and checks.
• Understand & educate the importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Total 05-10 years hands on experience in Small/Mid-size Chemical/Petrochemical/Refinery Projects execution, specialized in Q/C, Construction & Pre-commissioning activities with well-organized/reputable organization
