Job Description

* Exceptional leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a remote site environment.

Expert knowledge of canal construction methodologies, including earthwork, slope stabilization, and various lining techniques (e.g., PCC, concrete).

* In-depth experience with the construction of canal structures such as Head & Cross Regulators, Aqueducts, Super Passages, Canal Bridges, and Culverts.

*Strong understanding of engineering drawings, IS Codes, and contract documents (e.g., FIDIC).

Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC): Implement and enforce a stringent QA/QC plan. Ensure all work, including excavation, embankment, canal lining (concrete/PCC), and structural concrete for aqueducts, regulators, bridges, and culverts, conforms to the approved drawings and technical specifications.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Champion a site-wide safety culture. Develop and enforce comprehensive HSE plans to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all statutory regulations, aiming for zero accidents.

Resource Management: Oversee the optimal allocation and utilization of manpower, heavy construction machinery, and materials. Manage procurement and inventory to prevent project delays.

Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and submit timely and accurate project progress reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly updates. Maintain comprehensive project documentation for all activities.

Technical Problem-Solving: Identify, analyze, and resolve any technical challenges, constructability issues, or on-site conflicts promptly and effectively.
