Construction Estimator (Landscape Estimate)

Job Description:

· The successful applicant will estimate work of projects by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. The applicant will be responsible for estimating project costs for various construction materials & Landscape Estimates. Estimators will prepare material lists derived from the construction documents (blueprints, specifications, and related documents) and prepare cost estimating proposals. In addition, estimators will estimate labor, material, and time requirements in order to be able to compute the overall cost of the project. The candidate will be required to work at our Bangalore India office.

Primary Duties:

· Explore documentation in order to gain a deep understanding of the project requirements, must be able to read a set if construction documents.

· Select, measure and track important metrics

· Perform complex analysis of collected data and metrics

· Prepare relevant and reliable forecasts

· Create and present reports to upper management

· Analyze and evaluate offers.

Work Experience and Knowledge:

· Educational Qualification: BE/B.tech in Civil Engineering

· Experience: 0 – 6 months

Skills:

· Familiarity with computer programs such as like Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), AutoCAD, On-Screen Take-Off, and PDF Editors such as Bluebeam.

· Good time-management skills

· Ability to multi-task

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills (Must be fluent in English – verbal and written)

· Good Penmanship

· Critical-thinker and problem-solver

· Ability to work independently on projects and coordinate with other team members

Work Schedule:

· 40+ hour work week typically Monday through Friday [11am to 8pm]

· Occasional evening, early morning and weekend work is required.
