Construction Engineer (Civil)

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily site activities and ensure work progress as per project plan.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, laborers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and used efficiently.
• Maintain quality control and safety standards on-site.
• Monitor and record daily work progress, labor attendance, and material usage.
• Assist in site inspections with clients, consultants, or government authorities.
• Resolve technical issues and ensure timely completion of work.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly site reports.
• Coordinate with the project manager and update on site status regularly.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of civil construction work.
• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and site layouts.
• Good communication and team management.
• Knowledge of safety and quality control standards.
• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Experience in residential.
• Familiar with construction tools, materials, and execution planning.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and project tracking software.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mogappair West, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
