Your previous consulting experience in Wealth and Asset Management or a transformation role within the industry will be valuable, with key qualifications and skills including: - Advanced proficiency in Fund accounting and financial reporting, Investment accounting, financial statement close process, regulatory and statutory reporting, management and financial reporting, consolidation reporting, advanced data readiness and analytics, governance, controls, and regulation. - Experience with fund administration and investment accounting platforms like Investran / Eagle / Yardi. - Knowledge in Private Equity & Real Estate Funds and investment accounting. - Experience in operational aspects like NAV finalization, reconciliations, management reporting, and investor reporting, reconcile investor capital balances, and allocation of Profit & Loss. - Qualifications for this position require an MBA/CA/ACCA/CPA certification. - Immediate joiners will be an added advantage. Your responsibilities will include understanding the intricacies of Funds and Fund-of-Fund investment operations and financial statement reporting, defining new procedures and controls to enhance operational risk processes, driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and budget, and executing detailed procedures based on knowledge of fund controllership, investment books and records, and/or financial reporting processes. You will also be responsible for critical accounting activities, including capital calls, valuations, and transaction processing, identifying and evaluating new technology opportunities for platform enablement, and collaborating with business and technology partners to translate business requirements into scalable solution options. The organization closely examines the general ledger, operating systems and infrastructure controls across the entire lifecycle and diverse product scope of the investment bank to ensure the firms financial information is accurately depicted for reporting and regulation purposes. This financial information is used by analysts to assess the firms financial position; by management to make sound financial decisions; by investors to make informed decisions; and by regulators to supervise and examine the firm appropriately. The most common functions and activities owned by FAIR include but are not limited to the following: financial analysis, consolidation, reporting, balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation, general ledger reconciliation reporting & governance, inter-entity control and governance, manual accounting/bookings to the general ledger and operating systems, and executing the month end close process.
