Confluence Administrator

As a Confluence Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing the Atlassian Confluence environment. Your duties will include handling user management, space permissions, system maintenance, and integrating Confluence with other tools such as Jira. You will administer and maintain Confluence (Cloud or Server-based) and manage user roles, access rights, and group permissions. Additionally, you will create and manage spaces, templates, and organize content efficiently. Configuring and maintaining add-ons, macros, and plug-ins will be part of your daily tasks, along with ensuring system performance, availability, and regular backups. Integrating Confluence with other Atlassian tools like Jira and Bitbucket will be crucial, and you will be required to monitor usage and provide end-user support for troubleshooting. Maintaining documentation standards, enforcing content governance, and implementing best practices for content lifecycle management are also essential responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience as a Confluence Administrator, a good understanding of user/space permission structures, and familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket. Knowledge of add-ons like ScriptRunner and Comala, along with expertise in API integrations and automation scripts, is necessary. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are required for this role. Experience with LDAP/SSO configurations and familiarity with DevOps practices or ITSM environments would be beneficial for this position.,
