Role & responsibilities We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in the poultry industry . The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of industry experience , well-established contacts with distributors and end users , and a customer-focused mindset. This role involves daily travel to customer locations , understanding their needs, handling inquiries, and ensuring timely payment collections . Visit customer locations daily (distributors, farms, end users) to maintain strong relationships and address inquiries or concerns. Identify customer needs and provide suitable product recommendations and solutions. Build and manage long-term relationships with key clients and channel partners. Leverage existing industry contacts to expand the customer base and identify new business opportunities. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to adapt sales strategies accordingly. Responsible for collecting payments from customers within the agreed timeline, ensuring adherence to credit terms and minimizing outstanding dues. Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and payment status. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management. Stay up to date with company products, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Work closely with internal departments (marketing, logistics, accounts) to fulfill customer requirements and resolve issues efficiently. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the poultry or livestock industry. Strong network of contacts with distributors and end users. Willingness to travel daily to customer sites across the assigned region. Proven ability to collect payments and manage customer accounts effectively. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently. Bachelors degree in Business, Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field (preferred). Valid drivers license and flexibility to travel extensively.
