Job Summary: We are hiring a highly capable Design Engineer to design and develop multi-level mechanical car parking lift systems, including automatic, tower, puzzle, pit-type, and custom configurations. The role focuses on 3D modeling, fabrication drawings, BOM/BOQ preparation, component selection, and installation support, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as ASTM. Key Responsibilities: Design fabricational multi-level car parking lifts (tower, dual, tri-pit, puzzle, stacker types) using advanced 3D CAD software. Create accurate 3D models and 2D detailed drawings for manufacturing and assembly. Prepare fabrication and structural drawings in compliance with ASTM standards and applicable codes. Generate BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and BOM (Bill of Materials) with material specifications and part numbers. Design and calculate for shafts, sprockets, hydraulic cylinders, roller chains, gearboxes, and other drive components. Perform selection and sizing of mechanical parts like motors, gearboxes, hydraulic units, and support structures. Create CNC-programmable designs considering production feasibility and tolerances. Provide support during installation, erection, and commissioning of parking systems. Review fabrication processes and ensure use of standard materials per ASTM / ISO / IS codes. Assist in design optimization, modularization, and cost-effective fabrication. Coordinate with vendors, production, and site teams to validate manufacturability and installability. Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 6–12 years of experience in mechanical design for car parking systems or industrial machinery. Strong command over: SolidWorks 2020 Autodesk Inventor Creo Parametric 3.0 AutoCAD (2D Drafting and Layout) Hands-on experience in fabrication design using steel, sheet metal, and machined parts. Working knowledge of ASTM standards related to structural steel, fasteners, hydraulics, and fabrication. Experience in CNC-friendly design, machining tolerances, and geometric dimensioning (GD&T). In-depth knowledge of mechanical transmission design (chain drive, shaft coupling, hydraulic power). Ability to lead site assembly coordination, read GA and assembly drawings, and conduct fitment checks. Familiarity with structural safety, load calculations, and mechanical performance verification. Preferred Skills: Experience with multi-level automated parking systems. Familiarity with welding standards, ASTM/ISO/DIN material specs, and surface treatments. Basic knowledge of FEA tools for mechanical validation. Knowledge of ERP systems for BOM management and change tracking.
