Computer Vision Engineer Senior

As an experienced software engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be involved in designing, developing, and optimizing embedded software and device drivers in Real-Time Operating Systems such as Android, QNX, or Embedded Linux. Your responsibilities will include enabling vision algorithms on DSPs, vision accelerators, or GPUs, implementing fault-tolerant safety systems, and contributing to all phases of software development. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and optimize embedded software and device drivers in Real-Time Operating Systems. - Enable vision algorithms on DSPs, vision accelerators, or GPUs. - Implement complex fault-tolerant safety systems according to industry standard specifications. - Contribute to all phases of software development. - Work collaboratively with engineers, partners, and customers across different geographical sites. - Utilize C/C++ programming skills in operating systems like QNX, Linux, and other RTOSs. - Demonstrate strong analytical and debugging skills with effective communication across multiple time zones. - Utilize industry-standard software development tools like debuggers, code revision control systems, IDEs, and build tools. - Preferred experience with computer vision kernels/imaging and complex fault-tolerant safety systems design. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or PhD in a relevant field. - 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Ability to complete coding tasks accurately and on time, adapt to changes, collaborate with team members, and communicate effectively. - Strong problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot software issues, and participate in technical conversations. - Experience in writing readable code, unit testing, and collaborating with other engineers. - Ability to work under minimal supervision, prioritize tasks effectively, and exercise creativity in drafting documents.
