The Computer Vision Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing computer vision algorithms and systems to enable visual perception and understanding in applications. They will collaborate with cross - functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to deliver innovative computer vision solutions. The Computer Vision Engineer will contribute to advancing computer vision technologies and applying them to real - world problems. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and implement computer vision algorithms and models for various applications, such as object detection, recognition, tracking, and image segmentation. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to gather and preprocess data, ensuring its suitability for training computer vision models. Develop and optimize computer vision models using deep learning frameworks (e. g. , TensorFlow, PyTorch) and other relevant tools. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand application requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Optimize computer vision algorithms and models for real - time and resource - constrained environments, considering factors such as speed, memory usage, and computational efficiency. Document research findings, methodologies, and implementation details, and contribute to technical reports and publications. Qualifications and Requirements : Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are advantageous. Proven experience in computer vision engineering or related roles, with a focus on developing and implementing computer vision algorithms. Strong understanding of computer vision principles, techniques, and deep learning models. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB for algorithm development and implementation. Experience with deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras, and their application in computer vision tasks. Familiarity with image and video processing techniques, feature extraction, and image understanding. Solid understanding of machine learning and statistical concepts. Strong analytical and problem - solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot computer vision algorithms. Experience with popular computer vision libraries and tools, such as OpenCV, Dlib, or PCL.
