Position: Computer Teacher (Trained Graduate Teacher - TGT)
Location: Mohali, Punjab

Role Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Computer Teacher (TGT) to join our educational team at Gian Jyoti Global School, Mohali. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the next generation of tech-savvy students, fostering a deep understanding of Computer Science principles and practical skills. Key Responsibilities

· Design and deliver an engaging computer science curriculum according to CBSE syllabus that resonates with students of varying skill levels, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of fundamental concepts.

· Implement hands-on projects and interactive lessons that encourage creativity and critical thinking in the use of technology.

· Assess student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.

· Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes collaboration, respect, and a love for learning.

· Stay current with technological advancements and integrate relevant tools and software into the curriculum.

· Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities and support school-wide initiatives

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/M.Sc and B.Ed.

· Minimum 4 years of teaching experience with a reputed CBSE-affiliated school and must be aware of the latest CBSE syllabus of all the classes till 12th.

· Teaching certification or licensure in the relevant subject area.

· Strong knowledge of E Portal, CBSE portal, Udise , Oasis etc.

· Familiarity with coding languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript & C++.

· Prior experience in a K-12 educational environment.

· Ability to integrate technology into lesson plans effectively.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of connecting with students, parents, and faculty.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

· Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
