Computer Science Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Computer Science Teacher to conduct engaging and practical computer sessions for students from Classes 2 to 8. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and a solid foundation in Python and C Programming.

The teacher will primarily work in the computer lab, guiding students through both theoretical understanding and hands-on practice in computing fundamentals, problem-solving, and digital literacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct computer lab sessions and theory classes for students of Classes 2 to 8.
• Teach fundamental and advanced computer concepts, including MS Office applications, coding, and logical thinking.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and presentations aligned with the school’s curriculum.
• Train students in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for practical use.
• Introduce students to programming basics using Python and C language in an age-appropriate way.
• Maintain and manage computer lab equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient learning environment.
• Evaluate student performance through regular assessments and projects.
• Collaborate with other faculty to integrate technology into classroom learning.
• Participate in school events, competitions, and IT-related exhibitions.

Required Qualifications

• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) – Compulsory
• B.Sc. (Computer Science) / BCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent degree
• Strong command over Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Working knowledge of Python and C programming languages
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
