Computer Science Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and passionate PGT Computer Science Teacher to teach senior secondary students under the Matriculation Board curriculum. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, classroom management skills, and a commitment to inspiring students in the field of computer science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Computer Science for Grades 11 & 12 under the Matriculation Board curriculum.
• Prepare and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the academic standards of the Matriculation Board.
• Design and evaluate assignments, assessments, and projects based on syllabus requirements.
• Train students for practicals, theory exams, and technology-based competitions.
• Maintain up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
• Use digital tools, smart boards, and coding platforms to enhance classroom engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning, exam preparation, and cross-disciplinary integration.
• Support students with remedial teaching or extra academic help as needed.
• Encourage innovation, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills in students.
• Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Attend parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and staff development sessions.

Required Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification:

Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / MCA or equivalent

• B.Ed (mandatory)
• Experience:

Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in senior secondary classes (Matriculation/State/CBSE)

• Skills:
• Strong command of programming languages (Python/Java/C++)
• Knowledge of software tools, basic networking, and data structures
• Effective communication and classroom management
• Familiarity with online learning platforms and LMS tools

Desirable Qualities:

• Ability to motivate students toward computer-based careers or higher studies.
• Experience in guiding students for inter-school competitions or coding events.
• Enthusiastic about using educational technology in teaching.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
