Computer science Lab Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist faculty and students during lab sessions and practical classes.
• Set up, operate, and maintain computer systems, lab equipment, and software required for practical sessions.
• Ensure all lab systems are updated, functional, and well-maintained.
• Provide technical support to students on programming, software tools, and basic troubleshooting.
• Prepare and organize lab materials, manuals, and equipment before sessions.
• Maintain inventory of lab equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements when needed.
• Support faculty in conducting lab examinations and assessments.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper usage of lab resources.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science / Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a CSE lab, IT support environment, or similar role.
• Strong subject knowledge in core computer science concepts.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Python, Java preferred).
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows/Linux) and common development tools.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assist students patiently and communicate clearly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
